The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a National Trail, running along the whole of the Pembrokeshire coastal line and National Park. You will walk along the dramatic limestone cliffs, visiting tiny fishing villages and have the chance to visit offshore Islands. There is a variety of landscapes, some very rural and others with an industrial history, backed by hills, estuaries, valleys and woodlands. This walk offers a variety for novice and seasoned walkers alike. There are areas of this walk which can be quite demanding, especially in the northern section where you will be passing through remote areas.

The mileage shown below is from where the Pembrokeshire Coastal path starts and finishes each day and is for your guidance only. A large part of this walk includes along rural coastal areas, so you will find that sometimes the accommodations are very close to the path and other times you will need to walk a little further to reach your accommodation. You will not be asked to walk any further than one and a half miles from the path to your accommodation unless other wise specified. Please see the Itinerary pages for more details.

Sometimes an inland detour is unavoidable and can add additional mileages to your days walk. This will be discussed with you at the time of booking and all effort will be made to avoid this from happening.
There is no accommodation at Amroth so you will be accommodated nearby. You may be able to walk to Amroth on your arrival or departure day. If you are not staying close to the Pembrokeshire coastal path, you will be provided with a taxi transfer, either on your first days walking or at the end of your final walking day, depending upon if your holiday starts or finishes in this location.
The Coast path finishes at St Justinians, with a further two miles walk to reach St David’s where you will be accommodated. There is also a very good bus service that travels this route which you have the option to use.
There is also no accommodation at St Dogmaels but this is where the Pembrokeshire Coastal path officially finishes or starts. Your accommodation will be in Cardigan, a further one mile walk from the path.
